The Colca Valley. The trip to Colca can be made by a local bus, or arranged thorugh a travel agency. The bus leaves at dawn (4am) and reaches Cabanoconde in 6 hours. From this point one should proceed to the Mirador del Condor. The return trip leaves at 4.30pm, adn arrives to Arequipa city at 9 or 10pm.

Cotahuasi. Is the capital of Province of la Union. It has a canyon comparable to the Colca, an impressive ravine cut by the Cotahuasi River into the sides of the colossal SOlimana, with curves, vertical walls, many rapids and waterfalls, and covered by wild vegetation and agricultural terraces. Once known only by villagers and some researchers interested in the region, news of its existence became more widespread with the advent of tourism.Cotahasi is a small cool town with narrow paved streets
